In His Dumbest Move Yet, James Dolan Threatens to Stop Selling Alcohol at MSG

In the latest chapter on why James Dolan is the worse owner in New York, Dolan recently stated that he might stop serving alcohol in MSG, as a way to stick it to the New York State Liquor Association. Now you may be thinking to yourself this sounds like a mad lib, there is no way it's true. However as shocking as it seems it's 100% true, and here is the background.

So this all stems from a lawsuit filed back in 2021, where shareholders protested the merger of MSG Networks and MSG Entertainment. Now since Dolan is petty he decides to ban all the lawyers involved with the lawsuit from MSG. To make sure of this he used facial recognition to recognize them and make sure they were not getting in. Again he used facial recognition. That sounds like something a third-world dictator would use to find political opponents and make them disappear. It's just messed up.

Now one of the lawyers has common sense, and saw how messed up this is, so they filed a complaint with the New York State Liquor Association saying that part of the MSG liquor license says they have to let the general public to enter. Now since Dolan is one of the prettiest people in the history of New York, he fired back with this comment.

"So, what we're going to do, is pick a night, maybe a Rangers game, and we're going to shut down all the liquor and alcohol in the building."-James Dolan

He would then go on to say, that there are going to be flyers saying if you have a problem with them not selling alcohol, take it up with Liquor Association CEO Sharif Kabir. Is James Dolan really that tone-deaf? Does he really think that the fanbase is going to be on his side during this whole thing? That this alcohol banned is going to make people go you know what they're treating Dolan unfairly let's support him. That's not going to happen at all, if anything it's going to make people hate Dolan even more.

This is the same guy who bans fans from the Garden when they tell him to sell the team or say anything critical about Dolan. Wow the more I write the more I realize how similar to a dictator Dolan is. Like if you were learning this was stuff Kim Jong-Un did you wouldn't be surprised. I'm probably going to get banned from the Garden just for writing this.

You know what I hope Dolan does this because it's going to blow up in his face spectacularly. Everyone will be making fun of him and calling him a clown. The New York media is going to have a field day with it. So I'm just going to sit here and wait. Wait and watch Dolan get made fun of by every New York Sports fan. He can't ban us, all right? The Knicks and Rangers will probably be playing in an empty area when this is all said and done, aren't they?
